Bill is a partner with Dayton based McDougall Marketing Communications, celebrating 25 years in business. He has extensive experience in building client revenue through development and implementation of strategic marketing, sales, communication and branding programs. Major client focus today is in healthcare, but we also serve clients in technology, environmental, government and manufacturing. Bill previously held sales/marketing/management positions in manufacturing, retail and broadcast companies. He has also held equity positions in local on-line, multimedia and publishing ventures. Holds a B.S. degree in marketing from Wright State University(’76) and an MBA from the University of Dayton(’79).
Game changer! His current interest is with the advances of digital video in multimedia applications including direct mail, web and social media. Video advancement, use and delivery will achieve greater attention span in a growing “delete” happy world.
Outlook! 2011 looks to be an exciting year in social media as many companies new to the channel plan to step in with both feet. Economic justification, result reporting and increasing on-line/media “clutter” are challenges that businesses will have to address.
