Scott Sliver

Featured New Media Dayton peep — Scott Sliver — is the Executive Director of The Hope Foundation of Greater Dayton. (Be sure to follow on Twitter!) After only one year, Hope has grown from serving food to less than 100 households to over 700 monthly in Greene and Montgomery Counties. They distribute more than TEN TONS of Foodbank food EVERY MONTH. Hope is currently an all-volunteer organization that partners with churches, schools and other organizations to make a difference in the community!

Scott is the voice of the “I Love Dayton!” facebook page that has an excess of 3,600 followers!
He created (and is an Admin for) the “Bring the Shuttle to Dayton!” facebook page for the Air Force Museum Foundation. He is a social media coach for SportsClips, the CDCRC, a local realtor, the Pony Express Veterinarian Hospital and Z-Best Pest Control.

Scott’s background in advertising and non-profits gives him a unique perspective on how to connect people and build their businesses through building relationships. Scott left his advertising career to help start the Vineyard Church in Beavercreek, a church of 2,500 people that focuses on community outreach.

He has been married to his wife Bonnie for 24 years. (She is Sparkle the Clown… you might have seen her at The Greene over the summer? lol) They have 4 kids ages 18-24, with 2 in the military. Daughter in USAF, son in the Marines. Son is deployed in Okinawa, daughter leaves for Kuwait in December. The other two are both students at Sinclair.
